Our organization was founded by John Brady, a former CEO who faced homelessness himself. After emerging from our struggles, we recognized the urgent need for individuals with lived experiences to occupy positions of influence and decision-making. Over the past five years, we have dedicated ourselves to building an organization that trains and empowers these individuals, equipping them to become leaders in the advocacy for homelessness.
We focuses on changing public perceptions of homelessness while providing opportunities for those affected to become public speakers. By harnessing firsthand insights, we aim to highlight the expertise of those who have faced homelessness, showcasing their unique perspectives and lived experiences. Our commitment to advocacy extends beyond mere representation; it seeks to create meaningful dialogue around policies that affect housing and support.
We champion the idea that those who have lived through homelessness are essential voices in the conversation surrounding solutions. Through this approach, we are fostering a community where our experiences are acknowledged and valued, paving the way for systemic change.
